Google Earth
I've found a wonderfull piece of what the Internet should be about. It's called Google Earth, and can be downloaded from here http://earth.google.com/. It's really good for such nerds as I, who love maps. It really needs a high speed link (at least 128 kbps). The search features are not good, but I like to believe they will get better.

Yeah Google Earth is pretty cool. I was showing it to some relatives a little while ago, zooming in on the rooftops of a local village in Italy where my dad was born. Needless to say they were quite impressed with this 'Internet' thing. :)
I posted about it a while ago here if you wanted to read it.
